New Omicron Variant forces new restriction measures – Is your businesses COVID-19 risk assessment up to date?
The Omicron variant and its potential impact is still very much under review, but the UK government have introduced new restrictions that came into effect on 30th November 2021.
Rules on wearing face coverings in shops and on public transport were re-introduced, new isolation rules for possible close contacts of the new Omicron variant and testing after international travel.
These are the first major changes since the relaxing of rules over the summer and as an employer, you must by law protect workers and others from risks to their health and safety. This includes risks from COVID-19.
So to help you we’ve prepared updated COVID risk assessment templates for both the Office and Site works and updated our Free printable COVID resources.
