It’s time to update your Digital UKAS logos
You may be aware that UKAS have rebranded their logo to a new national accreditation symbol in January last year. To facilitate this in the best way a transition period has been agreed to allow customers to make the required changes without incurring undue costs or administrative burden.
The Transition Periods are:
Digital Materials – 1 year from launch (1st February 2022)
Printed Materials – 2 years from launch (1st February 2023)
Certificates – 3 years from launch (1st February 2024)
All future schedules and certificates will display the new logos and symbols.
With the first deadline approaching, you will need to update any UKAS standards logos you may show on your website and also the link information with them. Both BAB and NQA require you to link back to their websites:
The NQA strongly encourage clients to link back to their website by linking the UKAS logo back to the relevant ISO standard page eg. for ISO 9001 https://www.nqa.com/en-gb/certification/standards/iso-9001
The BAB suggest the following text: ‘You can verify the validity of our ISO certificate by entering our certificate number [insert number here] via this link: www.british-assessment.co.uk/verify ‘ You can also hyperlink the certification badge image to the link above to make it even easier for your customers.
