UKAS has introduced an online central database of certificates to recognise certified status
This will be used by potential purchasers for pre-qualification checks, tender evaluations and quality control, and you can refer your customers to the database to verify your certification.
- This will set your organisation apart from those companies that do not have ISO
- This will differentiate your organisation from those with ISO that is not UKAS certified
- This will enable a check to prevent companies fraudulently claiming certification
- This will support more streamlined supply chain management for those that require certification
All certification bodies accredited to UKAS will be required to provide and keep up-to-date data on their clients which will ensure that the CertCheck database will be fully updated at all times.
For more detailed information UKAS have developed a useful publicity pack and factsheet that you can use in your communications to promote your certification. They have also produced a suite of promotional materials all of which are downloadable from the relevant section of your Certification Bodies portal or website.
